From our partners at the County Office of Education… word of a SEL Professional Development workshop: Trauma-Informed Practices that Support Social Emotional Learning: Building Resilience During Challenging Times, May 11th and 25th from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. Presenter Ricky Robertson will highlight how to develop a relationship-based approach to teaching and learning, how to practice adult self-care by recognizing and addressing compassion fatigue, and how to bridge that focus to students, supporting equity through a student-centered discipline approach.
