Come to a First 5 Commission meeting! These public events offer a great opportunity for people with an interest in early childhood to learn and participate in our work.
The First 5 San Luis Obispo County Commission meets seven times each year, from 3:00-5:30 p.m. on the fourth WEDNESDAY of the months January, March, May, June, September, and October; and the first WEDNESDAY of December. For the Year 2026, these dates will be January 28, March 25, May 27, June 24, September 23, October 28, and December 2. All meetings EXCEPT January 28, 2026* will be held at the San Luis Obispo County County Office of Education Board Room at 3350 Education Drive, San Luis Obispo, CA.
