Raising A Reader & Monday Club Book Drop

The Raising A Reader (RAR) Committee of The Monday Club is hosting a program that will put books in the hands of young minds! The kick-off collection event is this Monday, May 10th from 4-6pm at 1815 Monterey Street in SLO-- and will recur the 2nd and 4th Mondays through July. So clean out your bookshelves and attic, visit a thrift store or go shopping so that you can donate to this wonderful early literacy cause! SLO Food Bank will be distributing the books in their Breakfast Bags that go to kids at more than 40 sites in our county. For more info on guidelines, go to https://themondayclubslo.org/RAR
