Join this meaningful opportunity October 10th to learn more about our Mixteco community members and how agencies and individuals can better serve them by having a deeper understanding of their culture. The aim of this awareness discussion is to review differences that providers might encounter when providing care to their patients. Attendees will get a thoughtful review of traditions and beliefs that come with indigenous populations. Herencia Indigena is a local organization that facilitates communication between health care providers and indigenous communities throughout the Central Coast.
